Marija Manojlovic

Executive Director
Marija is the Executive Director of Safe Online, managing a USD 100 million investment portfolio focused on tackling digital threats to children, particularly online Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSEA).

A strong advocate for children's digital safety, she ensures it remains a priority in global policy on sustainable development and technology. Previously, she worked with the End Violence Global Partnership and UNICEF, specializing in innovation, research, partnerships, and system reform. Marija holds an MSc in International Relations and Diplomacy from Leiden University.

Outside of work, she enjoys painting and listening to jazz.

Miguel Garcia Egido

Fund Chief
Miguel joined Safe Online in July 2020, bringing 5 years of experience as a Project Manager and Business Development Specialist with the UN Office for Project Services in South East Asia, focusing on governance, health, and education. He is also a Senior Technical Specialist in Human and Social Sciences with the Spanish Civil Service. Recently, he has been enhancing his skills in emerging technologies and human-centered design. Miguel holds a Master’s in Public Management and a Dual Bachelor’s in Law and Political Sciences.

Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor sports like rock climbing, surfing, and mountain biking, with a particular love for hiking with his dog Gustavo.

Serena Tommasino

Senior Knowledge & Advocacy Lea
Serena has over 15 years of experience in violence prevention, technology, and evidence generation, ensuring children thrive in safe, nurturing, and digital environments. She excels in navigating complex initiatives and partnerships, with experience across policy, advocacy, and programs within the UN, EU, and CSOs in various regions. Known for her collaborative approach, she consistently delivers top-quality results even in complex stakeholder networks. She holds advanced degrees in Sociology, Program Management, and a Research Fellowship in Culture & Technology.

Based in Tunis, she enjoys life with her two daughters, the sun, and the sea.

Manveen Kohli

Manveen Kohli
Manveen has 13 years of experience in global public health and evaluation, working with governments, international organizations, and UN agencies, particularly in India and Cambodia.

Before joining Safe Online in 2021, she coordinated the World Bank's Health Equity and Quality Improvement Project, leading efforts to enhance healthcare services and financial protections for vulnerable populations in Cambodia. Her work also informed UNICEF's India Country Programme Strategy 2018–2021 through five key evaluations. She holds a Master's in Gender and International Development from the University of Warwick, UK.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, dancing, and watching sunsets.

Tahseen Alam

Communications Specialist
Tahseen is a communications professional with over 13 years of experience in advocacy, external communications, and youth engagement with the UN and international organizations.

She leads external communications at Safe Online, is a committed child rights activist, and advocates for safe digital environments for children. She believes in the power of storytelling to drive social change and amplify marginalized voices. Tahseen is passionate about building inclusive digital spaces that prioritize child safety and well-being.

She holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Cornell University and is based in San Francisco, where she enjoys hiking.

Natalie Shoup

Industry and Data Lead
Natalie has extensive experience in child protection, education, and social impact. She previously worked with the non-profit Nest to address child sexual exploitation and trafficking through prevention education and victim support.

Over the past decade, she has contributed to the Developing Minds Foundation, most recently as Executive Director, supporting NGOs in the US, Brazil, and Colombia to provide protection, education, and psychosocial support for children, youth, and families affected by violence. As Program Manager at Data-Pop Alliance, she managed multisectoral project and research partnerships at the intersection of data science and social good.

Natalie holds a BSEng from Princeton University and a Master’s from the Faculty of Education at Cambridge University.

Sandra Daniels-Harte

Senior Administrative Associate
Sandra joined the Global Partnership to End Violence Against Children in July 2018. Prior to joining the Partnership, she worked with UNICEF NY, UNICEF Guyana and the Central Bank of Guyana. Sandra holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor's in Social Work. When she's not busy working she likes to read, write and spend time with her family.

Jessica Zimerman

Fund Portfolio Management Specialist
Jessica has over 12 years of experience working within the UN and INGOs across Asia, Europe, and the USA to combat violence, discrimination, and inequality.

From 2017-2022, she collaborated with diverse teams at UNDP to manage a multi-country project addressing development goals such as ending violence against women and girls, eradicating poverty, and promoting inclusive institutions. She is a certified project manager and a UNDP Surge Advisor for crisis-affected contexts. Jessica holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto and a Master’s degree from Cornell University.

Born in Winnipeg, Canada, she enjoys exploring with her dog Zoe, writing for pleasure, and embracing the endless possibilities of learning.

Neira A. Budiono

Community of Practice Coordinator
Neira, named one of the 120 Under 40: New Generation of Family Planning Leaders, has over seven years of experience at the intersection of youth, health, and technology. She holds an MSc in Global Health from the University of Oxford as a Jardine-Oxford Scholar. As Safe Online’s Community of Practice Coordinator, she builds strategic partnerships and facilitates knowledge exchange among tech industry partners, academia, and practitioners in the online child safety space.

Neira has worked with UNAIDS, UNFPA, and UNICEF on adolescent health and well-being at national, regional, and global levels. She co-founded Tabu.id, an award-winning digital sexuality education platform in Indonesia. In her free time, she enjoys reading fiction and cooking Asian food.

Recadina Webi

Grants Management Consultant
Recadina joined the Safe Online team in October 2024. Prior to joining the Safe Online team, she worked with various INGOs including, VSO, CVT, SCI, IRC, APHRC among others. She has a Master of Science degree in Organisation Development and Management from the United States International University - Africa.

When she's not busy working she likes to cook and experiment new dishes, journal, write blogs and spend time with her family.

Iryna Gudyma

Communications Consultant
Iryna Gudyma is a communications expert with over 13 years of experience in social impact and humanitarian response.

She has led strategic initiatives for organizations like the UN, UNICEF, and OSCE, focusing on ending violence against children and supporting vulnerable communities. With a Master’s in Globalization and Development Communication from Temple University and a Fulbright scholarship, Iryna combines strategic vision and a passion for leveraging digital platforms to drive social change.

In her free time, she enjoys nature, yoga, dancing, and traveling.

Nasiba Shamsutdinova

Budget and Finance Specialist
Nasiba brings over 20 years of finance expertise to Safe Online, specializing in budgeting and financial management. At UNICEF Nigeria, she enhanced program planning by effectively managing grant finances and aligning resources with objectives.

Previously, as a Finance/Budget Officer at UNICEF Kyrgyzstan, she streamlined financial planning and provided grant management support. Nasiba’s background includes roles as a Finance Associate, Internal Auditor, lecturer, and trainer, highlighting her commitment to capacity building.

In her free time, she enjoys reading and hiking with her children.

Stephanie Pinilla Ramos

Graphic Design Consultant
Stephanie with over 7 years of experience in information visualization and storytelling, specializing in creating visual narratives that make complex data accessible.

She has worked extensively in the social sector, collaborating with UN agencies such as UNICEF, as well as various international and local NGOs, to develop impactful design products like reports, infographics, and audiovisual content that support humanitarian efforts. Her expertise in design and communication has been key to maximizing the visibility and impact of initiatives, particularly through digital platforms.

Passionate about children's rights, She is also a photojournalist focused on social issues and enjoys sports and nature.
